Hi guys!

This blog is created to explain my favorite items and beauty products from this past autumn as we are approaching the winter months.

Fair warning: some of these products range to be a little pricy, but then some of them are drug store brands as well!

First up is my current favorite facial wash. The one I am currently using is the biore baking soda pore cleanser. I love this one because it can remove all makeup with one wash while leaving your face feel smooth and refreshed without feeling dried out or with residue behind. Also, there are little beads in it that can work as exfoliator to enhance the wash. The other face wash I am loving lately is the Lancome creme face cleanser. This face wash works just as well as biore and has almost the same results. I personally think that lancome feels better on my skin and it is a creme cleanser instead of gel, but it does tend to be pricy. However, one added bonus for this is that a little bit of cleanser goes a LONNNNG way. I had a travel sized bottle and it lasted me months which was amazing.

Next product I have been loving lately is the Chi silk infusion hair treatment. This is able to be applied wet or dry when your hair either needs extra shine or to be tamed from the frizz. I also love this product for the winter weather when hair tends to become staticky. I prefer to use this product when my hair is wet, but I do use it a lot when my hair is dry too. It works amazingly either way.

Next product that is definitely one of my favorites is my absolute favorite perfume. This product is not seasonal because it is my all time fav but I thought I would share anyways. it is called BonBon by Viktor and Rolf. It is a sweet smelling perfume (which is what I lean towards) and lasts for so long. The packaging happens to be super cute as well which isn’t a bad thing:) The only downside, however, is that this is super super super expensive. My recommendation: get the travel size spray from Ulta ($30), which still seems like a lot, but the bottle is huge so it lasts a long while.

My favorite makeup products currently are what I am so excited to talk about. First up: color pop super shock shadow. *pause for dramatic effect*. This stuff is holy grail. The pigment is OUTSTANDING, there is such a wide array of colors, and the price is only $5 per shadow! My favorite color is lightning bug, which is a metallic orange/gold and is absolutely GORGEOUS. I prefer to use this color all over my lid and just by itself. It is so east to apply; I use my finger and just press it all over my lid. It is a semi- cream consistency which makes it last forever too. Since this color is so bold, I wear it alone all over my lid, but I also have one color that I use as a transition shade in my crease that still has amazing pigment.

Next: It cosmetics CC cream. Don’t let the name fool you–this product has insane coverage. Most CC creams are for light coverage to add a little color, but this works as a full coverage foundation in my opinion. I love that, though because I have very rosy cheeks naturally and I like to cover it up. This is another product where a little goes a very long way, making it last for a while! It does happen to be pricy, but I believe that for myself and the use I get from it makes it well worth it.

Second to last favorite (no specific order) is my teddy coat. These are super popular during the fall and winter months, especially on college campuses. They are so cozy and warm but also look fashionable too! Mine is black since it goes with everything and can look classy as well as trendy. They come in a wide arrangement of colors, though. I did not attach a picture because there are SO many places you can buy them (Amazon, forever 21, Shein, Zaful) and they come in different styles too. Just search teddy coat:) I think this is a seasonal staple and recommend everyone to get one. 10/10.

Lastly, my favorite face mask currently is the bliss masks. I have the set that comes with 4 masks for different areas of your face depending on what your current problem is. It also comes with descriptions on the back of the box with what each individual mask does for your skin and where to place it depending on what you are targeting on your skin. You can buy this package at Ulta for $20 (great price) since 1 of them is around $15 at target or other drug stores. Yes, the bottles might be smaller than the full size, but it is a very generous size in my opinion to give 4 complete masks for only $20. I recommend getting on this asap because, let me tell you, they WORK… Especially coming from me, someone who does not believe that face masks actually make changes on your skin, I love it.

Ok everyone that is it for this post. Comment below if you have any suggestions for what type of posts you want to see next. I am hoping to post a lot more throughout this month since it will be winter break soon and I will have more than enough time on my hands.

Xo,

D
